Dramione AU Meme: Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger had been too intelligent for their own good since they were kids, and this factor made them form an alliance of some sort against the people who called them ‘nerds’. Some would even call them best friends, in a peculiar kind of way, because they tended to argue more than worst enemies do but still defend each other in times of crisis. Things started to fall apart between them when Draco confessed his growing feelings for Hermione, who never saw him anything beyond platonic friendship. She thought it would be a brilliant idea to play the opposite of what she really was to repel the attraction Draco felt for her by donning the bad girl attitude. To her horror, Draco did a similar transformation on himself, thinking that two could play the game. Pretty soon chaos ensue, and Hermione finds herself missing the old Draco she knew back then.
